The Reel Story of Matthew Huffman
Matthew Huffman holds a Bachelor's Degree from The University of South Florida, a philosophy major. His first job after college was a seasonal park ranger in Colorado National Monument, in Fruita. A lifetime fisherman, he began fly-fishing in 1998 at the urging of Robin, his partner in life, and the gifter of his first fly rod. Since then, Huffman has made fly fishing a lifetime pursuit.

Huffman lives in Arvada, Colorado and surrounds himself with friends who enjoy fishing, fly tying, liar's dice, whiskey, reading and writing. It is these friends who are the inspiration for many of his characters. The stimulus for his first novella was a conversation about liar's dice and whether there was any skilled involved. After a year-long pursuit of it's intricacies, the results were intended to be shared among friends as a kind of report. The results were so dry, so inconsequential, and so uninspiring, that a new vessel was needed. Anther six months, and Of Dice and Men was born. Part history, part fly fishing geography, it is a tale of the outdoors, a heartwarming parable of friendship, and a story of place and destiny. Pick up your copy today and join the adventure!
